SPYM is a nonprofit organization that provides services in substance use prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for children, youth, and adults. The organization delivers HIV prevention and care programs, including opioid substitution therapy centers, targeted interventions for key populations, workplace interventions with truckers, link worker
schemes, and technical support units for state AIDS control societies. SPYM manages homeless shelters and interventions for street children, offering life skills, education support, and access to healthcare and protection services. It also runs tuberculosis technical support units that assist state programs with strategy, capacity building, monitoring, and data management. In addition, SPYM conducts research and surveys for government agencies, provides mentoring and training for NGOs on substance abuse and de-addiction, and implements rural livelihoods programs that support women and small farmers through sustainable farming and income diversification.
