Spiral Q uses community-based art and performance to support collective action and social justice. The organization designs and delivers arts education residencies, assemblies, and school parades that link creative practice with literacy, civic responsibility, and student leadership. Spiral Q facilitates collaborative planning, dialogue, and story
circles with partners such as schools, activists, and community organizations. Its artists offer trainings, workshops, and professional development that build skills in art-making, organizing, and advocacy. Spiral Q also produces and supports public parades, pageants, and cultural events, including the Peoplehood Parade & Pageant and neighborhood-based projects. Additional services include commissions and production of puppets and props, consulting on messaging and engagement strategies, and lending artworks, tools, and equipment for public actions and events.
