SmartSign is a web retailer of signs, labels, tags, and mats. SmartSign operates over 60 sites, including MyParkingSign, MySafetySign, MyDoorSign, MySecuritySign, MyAssetTag, and SimplyExitSigns - all dedicated to safety and support.
Through these highly targeted, content-rich, and authoritative retail sites, SmartSign’s mission is to provide
signs as solutions to specific problems, such as keeping parking lots safe. The company’s history started with design online. The SmartSign custom technology was licensed to firms as diverse as Staples, FedEx, OfficeMax, and Grainger. In 2006, however, the firm transitioned from a technology provider to direct-to-customer Internet sales. Selling through niche sites with a common backend, the company offers over 5,000 different custom templates for personalization, in addition to the expansive in-stock sign selection.
