smartcouture started because though the founders were on the “right track” to pursue professional success, they wanted to create
something that better represented their multi-dimensional lives.
It all clicked for them one happy hour when they were discussing how picking out their outfits is how they get to create something that represents who they are everyday. And, while they may invest in a luxury brand purse or shoe that they use all the time, jewelry is the most fun part of a wardrobe because you can instantly switch it up to match your mood.

The problem they found was that well-designed pieces with good workmanship were just too expensive to build a comprehensive personal collection.
