Smartbox is a technology solutions company that creates assistive technology solutions to help people with disabilities. The company offers a range of hardware devices: three types of Grid Pads which are communications aiding tablets; eye gaze cameras which allow users to navigate and control a computer by tracking where they are looking; Servus
Environment Control devices that allow users to remotely control modified household devices such as thermostats; and other assistive devices related to controlling a computer.
Additionally, the company offers software: Grid versions 2 and 3, standard assistive communications software; Look to Learn, learning software for eye gazing technology; Dwell Clicker 2, interface software for pointing devices and computers; Switch Driver 6, replicates keyboard and mouse commands with switches; and Sensory Eye FX and Tobii Gaze Viwer, both of which aid in eye gaze technology.
Smatbox was founded in 2006 and is based in England with offices in Bristol, Worcestershire, and Malvern, with an additional U.S. office in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania.
