Company Performance Metrics
SLOG develops software for the design and analysis of residential slabs and footings on reactive or expansive soils. The SLOG online program supports professional engineers in designing stiffened rafts, strip footings and waffle rafts in accordance with AS 2870-2011 residential slabs and footings procedures. The platform implements the Mitchell
Method to model soil–structure interaction and assess stiffness, strength and ductility requirements. Users can either have the software determine footing depth for minimum reinforcing steel or specify reinforcement to obtain the corresponding required footing depth. SLOG also generates standard engineering report templates and interactive graphs that document calculation steps and footing reactions to changing input parameters. The product is offered for business use on a pay-per-report basis and for academic institutions under annual subscriptions.
