Company Performance Metrics
Slate eLearning Inc. is a Canadian software company building an AI-native content management and authoring platform for eLearning. Its flagship product, Slate, combines a web based course builder with a structured API layer exposed through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to create, query, review,
tag, and publish courses through conversation.
The MCP integration exposes 30+ tools across content management, review workflows, engagement tracking, and cross-app operations. Teams can query their course library with natural language, run bulk tagging operations, open stakeholder review cycles with AI-generated summaries and checklists, track learner engagement on shared links, and export content to presentation tools like Canva via MCP. The platform supports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, and cmi5 exports, all validated with SCORM Cloud.
Slate supports multi-language content workflows: courses can be translated into 10+ languages and exported as multi-language SCORM packages from a single source, with browser-based language detection for learners. The platform includes bulk import from Articulate Rise, allowing teams to migrate existing course libraries without losing editability.
Founded by a team with 30+ years of combined experience in learning technology and front-end development, Slate Builder officially launched in January 2026.
