It’s no secret that both Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS) algorithms are flawed. Bitcoin’s corrupt mining system is the direct outcome of these algorithms. Skycoin, by contrast,
achieves network consensus through a web-of-trust mechanism.
Network nodes gain influence through trust, while malicious nodes lose influence. There is no mining system. Skycoin is maximally secure and protected from 51% attack.
