Skoolie Foundation operates as a nonprofit organization that develops and runs programs for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The organization converts buses into mobile shelters that provide temporary housing and integrates food assistance into these shelter and outreach activities. It operates mobile hygiene services, including
shower buses and trailers that offer private facilities, hygiene supplies, and related outreach. Skoolie Foundation also runs the Medical Mobile Program “Ollie,” which delivers basic medical care, screenings, wound care, and referrals in encampments and other community locations. Additional initiatives include behavioral health-focused outreach, a mobile sewage cleanup bus for safe waste management, and a Skoolie Giveaway Initiative that provides a converted bus home to a selected participant. Across these programs, Skoolie Foundation works with volunteers, healthcare professionals, and community partners to increase access to shelter, hygiene, food, and basic health services.
