Its programmes combine on-the-job learning with tutor-led online teaching, off-the-job training, functional skills in English and maths where required, and assessment support. Skills4Pharmacy works with employers across community and hospital pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratories and dental practices to align training with workplace needs. It also provides apprenticeship recruitment support, welfare and learning support services, and guidance on funding and incentives for employers. The training aims to build sector-specific technical competence alongside wider skills such as communication, teamwork and problem solving.
