Shoe Aid collects donated footwear and works with manufacturers, retailers, schools, and community organisations to reduce footwear waste and address footwear poverty. The charity sources shoes through donation boxes and bulk donations, focusing on items that are still fit for purpose. It recycles and repurposes this footwear and supplies it free
of charge to partner schools, social enterprises, refugee forums, homeless charities, and other support organisations. Shoe Aid provides a wide range of footwear types for adults and children, including school shoes, trainers, sports boots, outdoor boots, wellingtons, safety footwear and other functional shoes. Its services enable beneficiaries to participate in education, work and leisure activities while also diverting footwear from landfill.
