ShisaCare provides multidisciplinary therapy and mental health services for military and civilian families living in Japan who use U.S. health insurance. The organization offers speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, applied behavior analysis, counseling, and psychological assessments. Services are available both in person at
multiple clinic locations and online, depending on the client’s needs and the type of service. Speech-language pathologists address articulation, language, fluency, feeding, swallowing, voice, and related communication skills. Occupational and physical therapists support activities of daily living, sensory and motor skills, pain and injury recovery, pelvic health, and pediatric mobility. Board certified behavior analysts, counselors, and psychologists provide behavior therapy, psychotherapy, and diagnostic evaluations for conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities.
