Company Performance Metrics
Shedia publishes a street magazine and develops social initiatives that support people experiencing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion. The organization produces a monthly street paper sold by certified vendors who earn income from each copy and access additional support services. Shedia runs sports programs such as “Goal to Poverty” and
the national homeless football team, using football and other activities as tools for social reintegration. It also organizes social walking tours and the Invisible Routes Athens Social Walking Tour to highlight urban realities and create work opportunities for guides from vulnerable groups. Through Shedia Art and related workshops, unused magazine issues are upcycled into functional objects that provide training and employment paths. Additional activities such as the Shedia Home café and solidarity subscriptions engage the wider public in sustaining these social programs.
