About the Company
Seren Photonics Ltd has developed a manufacturing procedure that greatly increases the intensity of light generated at the heart of a HBLED at negligable cost to the manufacturer. The technology has been applied to standard HBLED structures and so far has demonstrated between 100% to 900% increase in light generation compared to unprocessed diodes.
The technology is based on the work of Dr Tao Wang and the EPSRC National III-V Centre attached to the School of Engineering, University of Sheffield.
