Founded in 1996, Sistemas Eficientes, SA, Sefisa is the first company in the Central American region specialized in Internet Security . In the first year operations begin in Guatemala City, a year later in San Salvador and in 2003 and 2004 operations begin in San Jose, Costa Rica and Tegucigalpa, Honduras respectively.
The experience accumulated
since the beginning of the Internet, the certifications of its engineers in all the products it represents, those of its service consultants and the more than 500 satisfied customers, have made possible the expansion of Sefisa in the region and also can count with satisfied customers in other countries such as Nicaragua and Belize.
In 2001, Sefisa opened the first Authorized Check Point Training Center, to meet the demand for safety certifications from its customers. During these years, more than 100 professionals in different specialties have been certified. There are more than nine years of success stories with customers who decide to implement solutions from the best global manufacturers in Internet Security, which make us the only company recognized in Central America, for representing only the leaders, such as Check Point Software Technologies, Websense, Vasco Data Security, Trend Micro, Nokia, Packeteer, Stone Soft, Internet Security Systems, Entrust, Crossbeam and Cipher Trust among others.
As a new achievement, in 2005, Sefisa added to its portfolio services related to the adoption of the ISO 17799 standard, the most widely accepted international standard for the implementation of the best information security practices, as an additional effort to always provide it the best service.
