The project ran until Feburary 2009 when it was closed down by the UK competition commission. The technology was then sold onto Arqiva who launched a public website in Janurary 2010.In January 2011 it was announced a
investment partner was being sought. In May 2011 it was announced no partner was found and the site would be shutdown. At the last minute Criterion Capital Partners bought a stake in the venture saving it from closure.
