While a rating agency's geographic origin is not a quality benchmark in itself, understanding the cultural and
macroeconomic features of each country is essential when analyzing specific market segments, whether one is based in Europe, Asia or America.
This is where Scope can make a difference. Although a comparably new player in Europe, we have gained significant market expertise in the German capital markets since 2002, notably in the real estate sector. With our team of internationally experienced analysts, we aim to extend our service offering to issuers and investors across Europe. We look forward to contributing to a greater diversity of opinions among rating agencies in today's capital markets to best service issuers and investors across Europe; in particular in financial institutions and structured finance.
