SciTech Systems is an independent company that works in the field of consultancy to assist customers to succeed in the global market.
In 1995 SciTech Systems was successful in designing, negotiating, and gaining a contract for Intertek with the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) for the operation and management of the International
Conformity Certification Program (ICCP). Kuwait adopted the same program later in 2001.
ICCP is a conformity assessment (CA) scheme designed to ensure the conformity of certain imported "Regulated Products" to Saudi, Gulf, or other sanctioned international standards.
SciTech also provided legal council support with WTO to defend the PCP Program and demonstrate its compatibility under both the TBT and PSI Agreements. The recourse to the PSI Agreement was enabled by referring to the definition of PSI activities which calls for Verification of Quality whereby quality entails, inter alia, conformity with the importing country's applicable technical regulations and CA procedures.
It was founded in 1995 and is located in Beirut, Downtown.
