SCHERI engages in the design, technology R&D, standard promotion, and intellectual property protection of health management. It aims to promote the transformation of the research results of the research institute. The research institute consists of three centers: the intelligent hardware research center for chronic disease risk assessment, the
advanced medical technology research center, and the intelligent health management research center. The research institute will set up sub-projects in the fields of non-destructive testing of chronic diseases, detection and rehabilitation of neurological and brain diseases, cardiac surgery and rehabilitation, medical image analysis, and intelligent health management. In the field of R&D of software and hardware, academicians and experts serve as chief scientists, gather a group of top R&D personnel in the industry, build laboratories with all elements and the world's leading level, and develop internationally leading technologies. The world's first BrainPET project, the world's leading one, is the first research and industrialization project. At the same time, it is planned to build an overseas academician and expert workstation with Anhui (Hefei) Qiaomengyuan.
