Saroir Knowledge Foundation operates Saroir, an open source, closed-beta platform for community-governed knowledge creation and verifiable credentials. The platform lets students, professionals, researchers, and organizations propose or join real projects across domains such as tech, healthcare, finance, and public policy. Contributors submit work
that is peer reviewed by domain practitioners, and each accepted contribution issues a W3C Verifiable Credential tied to a decentralised identifier and timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain. Saroir’s system records cryptographically signed, independently verifiable attribution that remains valid even if the platform is offline. The service includes AI-assisted agents, rooms organized by tools and domains, and an MCP server so external AI clients can browse projects, draft contributions, and verify credentials under user-controlled scopes. Organizations use Saroir to access anonymized, domain-specific contribution signals for hiring and project sponsorship without direct access to personal data.
