RusCare was established in 1955. The organization was originally established to cater to the needs of and provide support and services to Victorians of Russian and Slavic origin. With a history of 50 years’ service, their not-for-profit organization is supported by the Commonwealth Government through the Department of Health, the Victorian
Government Department of Human Services, the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Local Government bodies, as well as Philanthropic Trusts, Corporations, and individual donors. Their team is committed to the provision of culturally and linguistically appropriate community aged care. They value cultural diversity and priority access to the program is given to people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to provide responsive and innovative services to meet the changing needs of the diverse community.
