Runovent manufactures a specialized vent for tanker trucks used in dairy farm pickup and other sanitary liquid transport applications. The vent is designed to allow unrestricted air exhaust and intake during tank filling and discharge to prevent vacuum or pressure buildup. It incorporates internal baffling to enable breathing while helping to
reduce product spillage during over-the-road transport. The device uses high-impact plastic that meets food-contact material specifications cited on the site and has a hard, smooth surface that tolerates common cleaning solutions. Its three-piece construction is intended to be easily disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled by hand without tools. The vent fits standard 3-inch sanitary fittings, and individual replacement parts are available from the company.
