The current mobile app landscape is cluttered with apps marketed toward runners, most of which are designed for a general fitness audience and lack the features desired by the running enthusiast.

completely different experience in bringing physically together those running in a community. Even when that is not possible, runens can provide the experience of running physically alone, but connected to other runners within their community and around the world.
