Thomas Dolan: Founder and CEO
RovAir shares mobile broadband among unrelated users, delivering on-demand mobile broadband whenever needed and for any “time” period. We eliminate the need to understand how much data is needed as our billing is based solely on time and NOT megabytes (MB) or GB. RovAir is mobile broadband in the Sharing Economy. Often referred to as collaborative
consumption, the Sharing Economy recognizes where resources are underutilized, and creates an opportunity to share these resources with others. It is a model where “access trumps ownership” delivering data resources to many more users, whenever and wherever they desire.
RovAir was founded in 2007 as a mobile broadband rental company, one of the first to do this. A rapid evolution of the wireless industry, RovAir scaled back and went into hibernation for several years before relaunching as a mobile broadband on demand service. Ultimately, we envision a world that can interactively share data among completely unrelated users on a peer to peer level. We are working hard to make this reality.
