Rosso is Italy’s first digital infrastructure for blood and plasma donation, addressing a critical and analog public health sector. In next ten years we will remain without blood. In a system where over 3,500 blood collection centers still rely on paper and phone, Rosso digitizes the entire donor journey—from awareness and onboarding to
appointment booking, logistics, and follow-up.
Rosso operates on two core business lines:
- Corporate Life Savers: a solution that helps companies engage employees in Health Prevention, Welfare and blood donation. Already active in 20+ companies, including Nestlé, Generali, Autogrill, and Lottomatica.
- Rosso SaaS: a software platform for hospitals and associations, co-designed with transfusional doctors, to manage donors, logistics, and national health reimbursements. Go-live is planned for 2026, with five LOIs signed to date. It allows collection centers to receive donors from Rosso’s booking engine and manage them alongside their own internally generated donors
To date, Rosso has engaged 100,000+ people, works across 3,500+ donation sites. With proven capital efficiency and growing market traction, Rosso is now scaling to bridge the generational donor gap and strengthen national blood resilience, to salve a 1.5B€ blood shortage in the next 8 years.
