The company was founded in 2013 by Bas Lemmens, who was previously involved in Booking.com, Easytobook and Isango. Booking vacation rentals online is becoming increasingly popular, but is not as
well developed as booking hotels or flights. With its database of 1.4 million locations, Roomlr aims to change this and offer an easy alternative for finding a holiday home or apartment anywhere in the world.
