Company Performance Metrics
Rigsrevisionen audits the state accounts and conducts examinations of specific areas of public administration on behalf of the Danish parliament. The institution assesses whether public funds are managed in accordance with parliamentary decisions, applicable rules and principles of economy and efficiency. It prepares reports and notes with findings
and learning points on topics such as procurement, IT security, risk management and sector-specific programmes. These are submitted to Statsrevisorerne, who determine the level of criticism and follow up with responsible ministers. Rigsrevisionen also collects information from citizens, companies and organizations that may be relevant for planning audits. Its work supports parliamentary oversight and provides a factual basis for political decision-making in the public sector.
