Resiliency Florida is a nonprofit organization that advocates for policies and investments that strengthen climate resilience in Florida. It focuses on the impacts of extreme weather, flooding, and sea level rise, and promotes regional, state, and federal strategies to adapt to these threats. The organization works with public and private partners
to encourage greater incorporation of adaptation and resilience considerations into government planning and infrastructure decisions. It provides legislative advocacy, develops and supports policy positions, and conducts public opinion research on resilience-related issues. Resiliency Florida also helps forge partnerships between local governments and the private sector and shares resources that support resilience planning and implementation. In addition, it is involved with the Florida Resilience Conference, which convenes officials, agencies, and stakeholders to discuss resilience programs and infrastructure needs.
