Refundit’s mobile solution allows travelers to reclaim VAT refunds digitally and avoid tedious paperwork and queues at the airport. More than 50 countries allow tourists to get VAT refunds for purchases of products they take with them when they leave. In Europe, VAT on clothing, electronics, toys, etc. range between 17% to 27%. Still, close to 90% of the refund entitled to non-EU residents visiting the EU does not reach its destination due to the complicated process.
