Refugeeswork.at is a platform that connects refugees with companies and Non-Profits that would like to offer refugees work opportunities. Refugees can register for free, create an individual profile and apply for internships listed on our website by potential employers.
For our matching service we consider the following factors:
- Technical
skills (of the refugees)
- Language skills (of the refugees)
- Place of residence (of the refugees)
For the beginning we limit our service – due to legal and factual reasons – to matching only (unpaid) internships that focus on education and that last 3 months at maximum.
Employers get all the necessary information about employing refugees on our website, which helps them to overcome the uncertainties that most of them face when they want to hire refugees.
With our online forms listing an internship will be easy and will only take minutes. Additionally we offer downloads of all the bureaucratic forms that need to be filled out as well as texts that help to get this done correctly. By that employers can save time and concentrate on finding the hidden talents as well as contributing to sustainable integration of refugees.
Financing the project Refugeeswork.at is an initiative from the charity association Integrationswerk that tries to finance itself independently.
Potential Employers that want to use the platform have to pay a yearly membership fee for the access to the registered refugees.
This income shall enable a sustainable funding of the platform. Any kind of profit is used to take further integration measures (with regards to the labourmarket) such as language courses or professional trainings.
