RedTail Flight Academy provides structured pilot training, aviation education, and mentoring programs for underrepresented youth and young adults. The organization offers a 14 CFR Part 141 curriculum that progresses students from private pilot to commercial multi-engine qualifications through scholarship-supported training. It runs academy
scholarships that combine flight instruction and technical education for aspiring pilots and airframe and powerplant technicians. RedTail Flight Academy also delivers youth aviation and STEM-focused mentoring programs, including pathway initiatives into aviation and aerospace careers. In addition, it organizes aviation-focused summer day camps and partners with industry organizations to create internships, apprenticeships, and other career opportunities for its students.
