Ready, Set, Read! provides early literacy programming focused on families with children ages 0–5. The organization builds children’s home libraries by distributing bilingual, diverse children’s books and classroom collections to partner early education centers. It offers educator training and professional development using a train‑the‑trainer model
so teachers can deliver family engagement workshops at their own school sites. Ready, Set, Read! develops and supplies research-based, bilingual curricula and workshops in areas such as foundations of literacy, math and literacy, and science and literacy. It also provides reading tips, handouts, and other resources that help parents create language-rich routines and support their children’s learning at home. Through school partnerships, it supports early literacy, family engagement, and kindergarten readiness.
