Read and Play develops solutions based on the Sounds2Read method, a music notation system designed specifically for early childhood. Its instruction method enables children to read and play from notation within just a few hours. Sounds2Read, previously TMN, teaches very young children between three and four years old to read and play while
preparing to read their native language. It bases the technology on three academic research studies conducted by reading and education experts, as well as experience with more than 10,000 children during the years of experiments preceding the academic studies. The Sounds2Read Method is applicable in many ways, some of which were developed and applied in Israel, including a computer game program, online game, musical toy, and electronic keyboard. Its first application is The House of Sounds, a game of enrichment that includes lessons and games and a library of songs to play in Sounds2Read. The game offers a creative tool to help students improve their reading.
