United Way of Ulster County provides programs and partnerships that address housing stability, health, education, and financial well-being for residents. The organization funds and runs direct services such as a health helpdesk, free skills classes, and volunteer income tax assistance for low-income clients. It stewards emergency assistance through
the HELPS Program and connects people to resources via the 211 New York helpline. United Way of Ulster County also supports youth leadership through the Associates Leadership Group and Youth Council and strengthens local nonprofits through the NonProfits United and Incubator program.
