Because they believe in knowledge sharing and collaboration, they have started an investigation together with Professor Jan Rots - professor Structural Mechanics for Buildings at TU Delft. Our PhD student Ömer Türkmen has searched for suitable test equipment in Europe. But because this was not available for us in the Netherlands, we developed and built this ourselves under our own management and under the supervision of TU Delft and Eindhoven. The test equipment has now been handed over to the test hall of BuildinG, a knowledge and innovation center for future-proof construction and infrastructure. In this way, the knowledge we have gained during the development of QuakeShield remains anchored in the region and regional education and they can continue to share knowledge. They can also further develop cooperation with Groningen SMEs.
