Construction (AEC) still rely on large format paper drawings in the field. Large format paper drawings are expensive to produce and subject to ripping, moisture, and other hazards of the job site. Furthermore, drawings undergo several revisions resulting in additional printing and downtime during redistribution. Projects can contain hundreds of drawings, however an individual can only carry and manage a few sheets at a time.
