Polars is an open-source library designed for fast and efficient data manipulation. It provides a DataFrame API that supports multi-threaded, vectorized, and columnar processing, making it suitable for large-scale analytical workloads. Written in Rust, Polars integrates with the Apache Arrow memory model and supports multiple programming languages,
including Python, Rust, and JavaScript. The platform offers compatibility with a wide range of data formats such as CSV, Parquet, JSON, AVRO, Excel, and SQL databases. Beyond single-machine processing, Polars Cloud extends these capabilities by managing infrastructure and enabling distributed execution.
