Until 2011, Point University was known as Atlanta Christian College. Though it no longer has “Christian” in its name, Point University’s commitment to Christianity has not diminished. Student life at Point offers several ways to celebrate Christ, from community service to global mission trips.
Point University’s academics are also rooted in
Christianity. In addition to traditional liberal arts degrees, the school offers the Bachelor of Theology degree for students who want to pursue a career in ministry. Majors in Biblical Studies, Christian Ministries and Preaching Ministry are available as well.
The university offers several financial aid opportunities for traditional and adult students alike. Combined with federal financial aid programs, institutional scholarships can provide significant relief from tuition and fees.
Point University’s admissions are based primarily on your high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores. However, the admissions committee also considers your religious devotion and social development. The school has a priority application deadline of August 1 for the fall semester, and December 1 for the spring.
