It also offers online tools and services for teachers, librarians, professors, and its educational distribution partners as well as library services.
The company was formed in 1996 as a result of the merger between Penguin Books USA and The Putnam Berkley Group. It has operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, and China.
