Company Performance Metrics
We are an Austin-based fintech startup building the world's first real-time market for public sentiment.
The way society feels about a public figure, their cultural relevance, their momentum, their trajectory, has never had a number attached to it. Polls are slow. Social metrics are noisy. There's no single, live signal that captures how
the world actually perceives someone. We built one.
Pauv's Net Public Sentiment Index (NPSI) is a live, dollar-denominated index for any public figure, shaped entirely by forecasting activity on the platform. Users open Positive or Negative Forecasts based on whether they think a Talent's cultural relevance will rise or fall. Every forecast settles instantly on our proprietary Dual Curve Model. No counterparty, no contracts, no binary outcomes. The index moves only in response to what users believe, making it a pure signal of public perception.
For Talent, Pauv is passive by design. A good-faith royalty of 0.5% is set aside on every forecast opened on their NPSI, claimable at any time, directable to charity, or left untouched. No obligations, no content requirements, no affiliation with Pauv. Public sentiment exists in the public domain; we index it, and we make sure the Talent can benefit from the activity around their name if they choose to.
On the infrastructure side, we operate on traditional banking rails. USD is held in FBO accounts at regulated partner banks. We maintain registered MSB status, integrated KYC, and a closed-loop ecosystem with no transferable tokens or blockchain dependency. We built Pauv to feel like Venmo, not like crypto. We're currently onboarding our launch cohort and preparing to go live with the first wave of NPSI profiles. If you want to forecast culture before it's obvious, this is where it starts.
