Today, significant progress
is being made in the field of ophthalmology, with small laboratories and large pharmaceutical companies alike exploring newer, more effective treatments for sight-threatening diseases. PanOptica seeks to license and develop these innovative therapeutics, which may include improvements to existing therapies or entirely new treatments for previously untreatable disorders. Our lead development compound, PAN-90806 , is a novel, small-molecule selective VEGF receptor antagonist that shows promise as a topical treatment for wet age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
