Orinyx is a safety layer for clinical AI. It sits between any clinical AI tool and the patient record and verifies what the AI recommends against approved clinical sources in real time, before a doctor signs, catching hallucinations before they reach a clinician.
Clinical AI is in nearly every major hospital. It recommends doses, flags
interactions, and informs treatment decisions. But it hallucinates. It states things confidently that aren't supported, cites guidelines that were reversed, and misses details a specialist would catch. Roughly 1 in 3 US physicians now use AI for clinical decisions, and almost no hospital AI project exits testing, because no one can prove the AI is safe enough to scale.
Orinyx catches unsupported recommendations before they reach a clinician, and logs every check as a signed, timestamped audit trail. That record is what hospitals show their board, legal team, and regulators.
Independent verification only works when it's independent. An AI vendor checking its own output carries the same blind spots that produced the error. Orinyx is a separate layer with its own sources, built to catch what the recommending system missed.
Orinyx is built to verify clinical AI across specialties. Our pilot is medication safety, checked against FDA labeling, clinical pharmacology, and federal safety guidance, where the risk is most concrete and the sources are clearest. The same layer extends from there.
Tool-agnostic. Routes alongside major EHRs, including Epic. Currently in beta and backed by AWS Startups. A charmthirteen company.
