Omne Mobile Payments (www.myomne.com) is pioneering the digitization of the physical wallet and providing innovative consumer-focused solutions based around security, personalization and convenience. Omne is producing an emulating credit card that can store all of your magnetic stripe and EMV-based credit, debit, gift, loyalty cards, as well as
RFID-based cards, such as digital keys and bus passes, onto one card. Omne is much more advanced than any of our competitors, in three key areas:
1) Emulation: Omne has a patent-pending emulation technology that can emulate EMV, traditional magnetic stripe cards, as well as work in a contactless environment.
2) Communication: Omne uses a much safer patent-pending Universal Communication Method vs. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Omne was told more than a year ago by Networks that they would not certify our BLE prototype at the time due to security concerns, based on the fact that it opened up the card information to the whole room.
3) Battery: Omne has a patent pending rechargeable battery that recharges the card when in proximity to the phone and during swiping.
