Oldham College is in the top 10% of colleges in the country; rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, and holds LSIS Beacon Status for excellence in its delivery of learning skills. The College currently has over 10,000 students studying over 900 courses, with approximately 500 students progressing to University in 2010/11. In addition, the college
works with over 300 employers and we have recruited over 540 apprentices to meet the needs of the local economy and offer more routes into employment.
The College offers a range of vocational courses aimed at 16–19-year-olds, adults, and businesses. In addition, our services for employers include:

There are now three Career Academies at the College: - I.T. Career Academy - Law Career Academy - Finance Career Academy Plus: - The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy for Greater Manchester - Green Technology Centre, where the learner can develop the skills to meet the demands of the green economy - Grange Arts Centre (available for hire) - Salon 7, located in the town center offering the best in hairdressing, beauty therapy, and nails
