Ekstra.OS is a universal interaction runtime that turns real-world motion into digital control.
Today, most software still relies on a small set of inputs: mouse clicks, touch gestures, keyboard commands, and voice. Ekstra.OS introduces a new primitive—motion. It converts signals from devices like phones, cameras, XR headsets, and sensors into
simple interaction events that applications can understand.
Instead of working with raw sensor data, Ekstra.OS translates movement into actions such as move, swipe, rotate, push, or grab. These actions can control websites, apps, 3D environments, presentations, displays, and connected systems.
The platform acts as a routing layer between the physical world and software. Devices become motion providers. Applications subscribe to motion events. Ekstra.OS handles the normalization, interpretation, and delivery of those interactions.
This makes it possible to:
• use your phone as a spatial cursor for any screen • control presentations or media with simple gestures • interact with 3D models and digital environments by moving a device • build touchless interfaces for kiosks, displays, and shared spaces • connect physical movement to software without installing apps
The goal is simple: make motion a first-class way to interact with technology.
Ekstra.OS is launching with a browser-first experience so anyone can try it instantly. Over time, the platform will expand across devices, environments, and systems—creating a universal layer that connects human movement to the digital world.
