MyPostcard is an Android, iOS and website compatible app which allows users to send their own photos as printed postcards or greeting cards worldwide. It offers a range of other customizable products from photo prints to the all-exclusive personalizable audio card, the first on-demand product of its kind. Available in 10 languages, the app is truly
international.
The company was founded by CEO Oliver Kray in 2014 in Berlin, Germany. Since then, MyPostcard has grown rapidly and is now the #1 postcard app in Germany and among the most popular across Europe with over 5 million downloads worldwide and a rating of 4.7 stars.
August - October 2016: MyPostcard takes part in "The German Accelerator" in New York City, as well as Facebook's Incubator FbStart program.
September 2017: MyPostcard acquires the "Postcard On The Run" website, a postcard app that became famous in 2013 through Shark Tank and their US investor Robert Herjavec.
December 2018: Deutsche Post AG in Germany and MyPostcard reach a major cooperation deal to acquire the customers of the former postcard app, "FUNCARD". Since then, MyPostcard and Deutsche Post AG have been working together successfully.
November 2019: MyPostcard is honored with the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award in Germany. The competition honors the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Germany, measured by their percentage revenue growth.
March 2020: MyPostcard ranks 347th (place 19 in the Ecommerce category) in the Financial Times' FT 1000 - distinguishing the company as one of Europe's fastest growing companies. The Financial Times works with Statista to rank the 1000 biggest, predominantly tech-based companies, with the highest turnover growth percentage in Europe.
May 2020: Deutsche Post and MyPostcard partner again to launch DeineBriefmarke.de, the platform that allows private users to create individual, personalized stamps, as well as license holders to create sets of branded stamps. Among these are Benjamin Blümchen and Bibi&Tina; the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam; artists including Ruthe; musicians like the Amigos; Leipzig, as the first German town; and organizations like AllOut.
June 2020: MyPostcars wins the German Stevie Award in the Company of the Year 2020 category for media and entertainment. The Stevie Awards aim to recognize outstanding achievements of companies and experts around the world and have become highly regarded by businesses the world over.
October 2020: MyPostcard wins 119 place in the FOCUS BUSINESS Wachstumschampions 2021. The annual ranking by Focus in collaboration with Statista selects the 500 fastest-growing German companies, recognizing their achievements and role in providing jobs and economic stimuli.
In the category ‘Newcomer of the Year', MyPostcard also takes home the coveted Licensing International Germany Award 2020. Josipa Gelo, Senior Marketing Manager at MyPostcard, is also awarded the Rising Star award of the licensing industry. Licensing International aim to strengthen the importance of the international licensing industry and to actively communicate its interests to third parties on behalf of its members.
December 2020: For the second time in a row, MyPostcard receives the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award.
March 2021: MyPostcard is listed in the Financial Times 2021 ranking for the second year, making it one of the fastest growing 1000 businesses in Europe according to the Financial Times and Statista.
At the German Stevie Awards 2021 this month, MyPostcard also takes home the Gold Status in the category of Fastest Growing Technology Company of the Year, along with the Bronze Award for Company of the Year 2021.
November 2021: In the 2021 Focus Growth Champions, MyPostcard ranks 32nd, making it once again, one of Germany’s fastest-growing companies according to Focus and Statista.
MyPostcard also wins the Gold Globee® in the 8th Annual 2021 International Best in Business Awards.
For the third year in a row, MyPostcard receives the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award, ranking 37th.
MyPostcard’s marketing concept places among the top 10 nominees at the German Marketing Award 2021.
