Mountain State University has, in recent years, transitioned from a two-year college to a four-year university, expanding to include bachelor’s and graduate-level degrees and reaching out to new locations to serve as many students as possible.
Located in Wood County, West Virginia, MSU still offers a number of associate’s degrees and certificate
options in such high-demand fields as Physical Therapy and Medical Assisting. In addition, one may now obtain four-year bachelor’s degrees in programs such as Theatre Arts, Business or Social Work.
Students may now also receive master’s degrees in Psychology, Criminal Justice, and others. MSU also has newly-established doctoral programs and plans to implement more.
It’s not only the academic offerings at Mountain State University that have expanded. MSU’s service area has also grown, as they’ve established campuses throughout the state, the country and even the world.
Even if you don’t live in close proximity to one of Mountain State’s campuses there are distance learning options that allow students to undertake bachelor’s and graduate degrees exclusively through online study. In fact, MSU has appealed so much to the national community that close to 40% of MSU students live out-of-state.
