rate for students after they graduate - for jobs or graduate study in their field - is 84%, well above the national average, which is around 50%. In some majors, our placement rate is close to 100%. Career preparation is what Mount Ida is known for.
Students at Mount Ida learn in the classroom, but they also learn by doing, with great internship programs, and classes taught by experienced instructors, many of whom currently work in the field they are teaching. All this, and excellent financial aid packages, 16 NCAA Division 3 sports teams, our close-knit community, and tons of individual support - both in and out of the classroom - make Mount Ida a little different than other schools.
