Mondobiotech is a Swiss research company and was focused on finding treatments for rare and neglected diseases.
The company partners with relevant communities or parties who are interested in reaching solutions for specific rare diseases.
We obtain effective and safe medicinal products candidates (“MPC”) through redirecting existing and known
substances into new therapeutic indications.
Thus we analyze peptides and other biological immunomodulating substances that are naturally occurring in the human body in order to identify promising candidates for the development of medicinal products for use in the treatment of rare and neglected diseases.
Our Search & Match engine has so far discovered more then 300 MPC’s for further exploration in as many as possible of the 7’000 rare and neglected diseases.
We then seek to license or sell our MPC’s to third parties (such as pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies) and/or to collaborate with third parties to obtain market authorizations and to commercialize such candidates.
