MIXIMALISTE aims to establish 3D CGI content as a new standard in luxury fashion to engage millennials through new content formats, interactivity and content immersion.
With its combined pre-order and marketplace business model and its exclusive use of 3D simulated content, MIXIMALISTE intends to have the same disruptive effect on luxury fashion
e-commerce as these key players have achieved in recent years each with its particular business model: Vente Privée (invite-only private sales), Moda Operandi (pre-order off the runway), Farfetch (boutiques aggregation), Vestiaire Collective (pre-owned marketplace)
To reach this goal, MIXIMALISTE strategy is twofold:
1. Provide a radically new user experience based on content interaction and immersion through the launch of its own B2C e-commerce platform along with Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality and Holographic Reality Apps using exclusively 3D CGI content, initially with exclusive collections from coveted independent fashion designers on a pre-order business model, and from 2018, expanding product offering to in season/in stock collections from both independent fashion designers and well-established luxury brands on a marketplace business model.
2. Address the growing need for content from luxury brands by providing B2B 3D simulated content and interactive/immersive applications as a service for brand partners. “We are now as much a media-content company as we are a design company” (Christopher Bailey, Burberry)
